Supporting LTP Strategies

A number of transport strategies focussed on specific areas of Transport Service Delivery, bridge the gap between the LTP Strategy and the detail of the Implementation Plan. These strategies identify how the broad approach outlined in the LTP Strategy to the delivery of LTP objectives should be deployed to ensure objectives are met in the most efficient manner possible.

The Supporting Strategies consider in greater detail the evidence available, to identify the most cost effective solutions to any problems identified. These can then directly inform the LTP Implementation Plan, and the programme of works in the short, medium and long term.

In some cases the supporting strategies already exist. In other cases these strategies are still being developed. We aim to have a full suite of supporting transport strategies in place for April 2012. The table below summarises the current status of each of these strategies, and how we intend to have them in place by April 2012. Once complete each of these strategies be available on this website.
