The local area strategies provide an overview of how the countywide strategy detailed in the Plan and its supporting strategies will be applied in our Local Transport Areas (LTA), to support our efforts to tackle locally identified problems and issues.
The local area strategies provide greater detail about each local area and have been informed by extensive evidence gathering, public engagement, and impact assessments. The local area strategies include our urban strategies for major towns in the county. These local area and urban strategies will be refreshed on a regular basis to take account of the development of our LTP supporting strategies, development of the district Local Development Frameworks, new evidence collected and studies conducted, and public and stakeholder engagement.
