In a proactive attempt to help improve communication, customer satisfaction, reduce telephone calls to the Contact Centre and promote the new Service Information Centre, Transport for Buckinghamshire will be using a small number of notification slips to notify customers of the following:
Street light electricity faults

Testing of street lights

Damaged street lights

Faulty street lights

The notification slips will be the same size as a compliment slip, not in colour, printed on paper and will be delivered by our own street lighting operatives who will already be on site. They will be delivered to properties adjacent to a faulty street light.
It must be noted that this is only applicable to street lights maintained by Transport for Buckinghamshire on behalf of Buckinghamshire County Council.
This new initiative was implemented during week commencing 26 July 2010.
