This years round of Transport Community work will commence on 16th May when the gangs work around their way around the County in each of the Local Area Forum areas. Working through the priorities of the Parish Councils they will carry out minor repairs to kerbs and drains, clean signs, cut back vegetation, clear drains etc.
At the same time our Road Fixers will begin their summer programme working on small areas that require patching as they arise.
The gangs have been busy through winter and early spring on a programme of pot hole repairs countywide. A major programme of capital schemes set to repair larger areas of winter damaged roads is currently under review and will be announced shortly.
