Bus stations

Buckinghamshire has two major bus stations, at Aylesbury and High Wycombe. Both bus stations have excellent onward connections to other parts of Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas. We are responsible for all timetables and real-time information displayed at the bus stations.

Display screens
Electronic displays screens are placed on the bus station bays and on stops in Aylesbury and High Wycombe town centre.

The screens at the bus station bays show a list of the next few buses due to depart from that bay, the destination of that bus, the scheduled time of departure (STD) and the expected time of departure (ETD). The ETD is tracked by the nextBus real time information system, where satellite technology is fitted onto the bus and tracks its journey in real time.

Displays screens at stops in the town centre show just one time, if this time is in minutes i.e. 12 min then this is showing real time. If it’s showing a clock time i.e. 1027 then this is the scheduled time and the journey is not being tracked by the real time system.
