Liftshare Week 2011 (3rd-7th October 2011)
National Liftshare Week is a week dedicated to promoting the benefits of car sharing. The focus of this year’s car share week is around the financial benefits of sharing your journey. With rising petrol costs sharing a regular or one off journey is a great way to reduce the amount of money spent on fuel. Car sharing also has the benefits of:
- Reducing congestion
- Reducing your carbon emissions
- Providing an opportunity to meet new people

Car Share Lottery
After two successful years the ‘Bucks CarShare Lottery’ returns this October. The lottery aims to raise awareness of the Bucks CarShare scheme and encourage more people to become members and increase the chances of you finding a match!
The lottery is free and open to all. All you have to do is register with Bucks CarShare during October and you will be entered into a draw for a chance to win £50 worth of shopping vouchers.
Bucks CarShare is quick and simple to join, just visit www.buckscarshare.co.uk and click on ‘Register for Free!’ More than 1600 members are already benefiting from car sharing so there are plenty of car share partners available for people to be matched with!
The lottery begins on the 1st October and will be open all month. The winner will be drawn and notified after the closing date of 31st October 2011.
